KEY INFORMATION

Shows delicate primary characteristics of apple and peach with hint of citrus fruits on the nose. A crisp and lively palate with balanced flavours of peach, melon and lingering apple on the finish Light straw in colour. Pale straw gold with green hues. The nose displays primary apple and stone fruit aromas with hints of peach. The fruit driven palate is complex, and crisp with its acid structure supporting the generous, apple, melon primary fruit accompanied by slight creaminess from limited barrel maturation. PREPARATION

Winter provided average rainfall levels which resulted in good soil moisture for vine budburst in early spring. The balance of the growing season provided a slightly below average temperature leading to a desirable long, slow ripening period. A dry summer and harvest resulted in slightly earlier picking Chardonnay with the resultant wine showing good colour with classic regional varietal flavours. A generous style of Chardonnay, combining rich primary fruit characters of peach and melon with hints of butterscotch and French oak.
